Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability across the continent, yet access to prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation services remains limited. ASO was formed to provide a unified, evidence-based, and collaborative response.
We build capacity through training programs, regional conferences, and partnerships with global and local organizations.
At ASO, we know recovery continues after hospital care. Survivors and families need ongoing support. Through outreach, networks, and training, we empower caregivers and professionals to provide effective, compassionate care.
